KENYA WITH SEMESTER AT SEA | Nairobi, Maasai Mara & Mombasa

This is one of the trips that still influences me to this day. I even wrote it about on my personal statement for Medical School as I do believe it was an inflection point in my life. Specifically the field trip, apart from being so awesome that we got to see every in person the parasites we have been learning throughout the semester, it was very eye-opening, and it made me reflect a lot about my future as a physician. I had some great conversations that day, but one specifically left an impact on me. It was with Phyllis, who I still talk to this day.
As a dare for this challenge, is that anytime that you travel, make yourself talk to a local in every city that you visit. Those conversations and the people you meet on vacation are what will make your trip memorable.

You were able to capture / include so much details in a short video and really highlighted what an experience might look like for young / students / Semester abroad students might look like.
