How Raila's lunch at my fish joint changed my fortunes

Brad Osumo was attending to his clients at his fish joint in Westlands when a man and woman walked in, placed an order for 15 fish, and told him Raila Odinga would have lunch there. The Azimio flagbearer had just unveiled Martha Karua as his running mate. Little did Osumo know he would be part of the news that day. And as he reveals, Raila and Martha's lunch has changed fortunes for Big Fish.

As a fellow Mt Kenyan, my problem is that I don't feel like I understand him. Like it's easy to understand Ruto. I had a big, big problem with him mentioning madoadoa 2 days ago. But I'm seeing my fellow Azimio supporters aren't quite bothered. I feel like I need someone who understands him well to explain why he says things that I don't expect someone of his stature to say. I'm a passionate person, super idealistic about Umoja - such recklessness seriously kills my morale

Raila was the presidential candidate in 2007 yet Luos did not massacre Kikuyus while Ruto wasn't even the running mate of Raila yet his people massacred Kikuyus in the Rift Valley. For Raila to say madoadoa, I beleive that he did not mean the madoadoa of the 2007. This time I want to believe it was the wrong choice of words but with a different meaning and intention. Understanding Ruto is not a problem, the problem is whether he is just using populist language so that he can get to statehouse when clearly everyone knows that public money will be at stake if he succeeded owing to his record on matters corruption.
