In a rare event steeped in ancient tribal tradition , more than 10,000 people in Nandi County attended a traditional ceremony at the Himaki trading centre to curse criminals behind the killing of a tea company manager and his wife several weeks ago. The curse was administered by Nandi elders known as Oloibon and attended by top leaders from the county with the aim of nabbing the killers of the manager Dickson Birech and his wife together with a night guard. Nandi county governor Cleophas Lagat was among the leaders present during the ceremony. Esther Kahumbi reports.
