Three things about this interview: 1. That JW was finally invited to the largest mainstream media platform in Kenya to explain his views and educate the Kenyan public is a great thing. Especially now that the protests are very recent. 2. I like how Yvonne pressed hard with questions. I've listened to JW many times before but the questions she asked enabled me to understand certain finer aspects of our debt situation better. On that, kudos to her. 3. I am no good judge of body language, but Yvonne's nonverbals today seem to suggest she does not believe one iota of what JW is explaining. She is an embodiment of Kenya's mainstream media which has long lost its role as the public watch dog. JW and others who champion should be seen on Kenyan TV stations frequently educating Kenyans and criticising the government. But our media does not know its job.
