There's nothing wrong with debt. The problem is how you use it. You eat it/steal it pain's on the way. You invest it you'll be able to develop while managing the debt payment. Overtaxing Kenyans to pay debt will only backfire as they cut consumption by huge margins reducing the taxes to be collected in the first place. Ruto's policy on borrowing from within will crowd out common Kenyans from capital. Not cutting down on unnecessary spending and wastage by the government isn't helping either.

Please concentrate on Hydropower Generation in DRC. If we don't go for it, then someone else from Europe, say Belgium or France will go for it. The power Project is called "Grand Inga Dam Project" with capacity of 70GW of Power, or 70,000MW of power, compared with the largest hydropower we have in Kenya, Gitaru which gives 225MW of power. In DRC, we have more than 500 rivers with larger and more reliable flows than Tana River. We have more than 1000 sites where Hydropower of 1000MW and above can be generated. We, Kenya, should talk to DRC and be allowed to do the following:- 1) Carry out hydropower capacity study for the entire DRC, then call out developers to produce power. 2) We can then take several of the best sites and give them to Kenyans to develop. Then the whole of Africa will never complain of power for the rest of their lives. Uhuru should be tasked with this, as he seems to know the Congolee quite well.

😂😂that's a lie ,aty not meant for buying buses, you mean that it's going to run on electricity poles like the bullet trains ?even cities like Newyork still struggle with traffic and the only electric means of transport used are trams ,speaking of electricity on roads they could have atleast started with innovative ways of using or building alternative means of electricity to be able to have more sustainable power reducing the now high electricity prices then they would be speaking of bringing in electric buses and motorcycles after showing results of reducing electricity, people would be much happier and would surely see that we are moving somewhere.
