1. This shoot was done in delhi and not in Hyderabad . 2. Siddi's are very much a part of Hyderabad. They were brought to Hyderabad as cavalry officers in the Erstwhile Hyderabad State Army ( Nizam State). 3. There is a place in Hyderabad called A C Guards ( African Cavalry Guards) exclusively developed for Siddi's by the Nizam State . 4. Siddi's have always been part of the Elite society in the Hyderabad State as their community was known for courage and skills

No they weren't slaves. They were pirates. Read the History of Sea fort "Janjira" on the western coast of India, that was an African Country in itself for 700 years of siddhis. You want to know the atrocities made by siddhis on Konakanis of Maharashtra, read history of Janjira. They used to cut our noses and sell us to Arabs. There were good Siddhis also. Some of them faught for My king Shivaji against Moghals. Famous maratha anthem "vedat marathe veer daudale sath" meaning 7 brave soldiers sacrify their life, one of them was siddhi. Update: Siddi Africans in India are either from Ethiopia or Somalia. As in Maharashtra, we either call them Habashi (Habasana-Abbasania) or Shamal (Somalia).

One thing that both African and Indian have in common is the hair growth. Most of African and Indian do growth massive hair from face to feet. Same for Caucasian and Arabian. But the majority of peoples are just ignorant by observing only the different from skin color texture. Here i just name another human genetic study. Take care.

When I was in Vietnam I met a woman merchant who told me that Indian people were not prejudiced against any race of people. I’ve heard similar things from other nationalities in my life. The truth is often different isn’t it.
