🇰🇪 Kenyan foreign minister on corruption claims - UpFront

Kenya has been praised by the World Bank and others for being a technology hub and having one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. The country is also criticised, however, in a PriceWaterhouseCoopers report for its level of corruption.
This report found that Kenya is the third most corrupt country in the world. The government says it takes corruption seriously and President Uhuru Kenyatta has declared corruption a “threat to national security”.
In this web extra, Mehdi Hasan presses Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed on allegations about the country’s corruption.
“There’s no country today…that can tell us they are free of corruption,” Mohamed says. “It’s acknowledged by the government that we have a problem and we are addressing that problem.”
Mohamed also denies the country’s auditor-general report that found that $2bn from a Eurobond sale is unaccounted for.

Hi mheshimiwa, with school fees capped at 53000 Ksh per year per student by the ministry,some public schools have opted to loot from parents in the name of school development kitty. Last year, I paid a total of 23000ksh above the 53000ksh per year. As if this is not enough this year its has been made a must to pay 20000ksh for the same kitty.Students are sent away if their parents have not paid for fundraiser and I'm worried because the deadline to clear this years fundraiser is on 7/7/2018 and I'm not in a position to pay and I may find my son at home. This school operates two accounts numbers one for equity (for the fundraiser)and the other for the official school fees which is a KCB account. The schools name is Moi Boys High school Mbiruri-Runyenjes

The government of Kenya 🇰🇪 needs Righteous Leaders, Not just Leaders. A government similar to Rwanda 🇷🇼 Laws against Corruption and Bribery. In Fact, Corruption and Bribery should be punishable by death when caught and convicted. Then follow some examples of our brother nation of Botswana 🇧🇼 when it comes to the rule of law being respected and changing Presidents smoothly 👍🏿. Honest Elections must be Mandatory by Law..... 42 Laws of Ma'at need to written all through the Constitution too..
