Being homosexual is not illegal in Kenya. There are many Kenyans who are homosexual. What's illegal is homosexual sex. It's a law that is a vestige of the colonial English laws that were never repealed. The law is however never enforced. I'm yet to hear of a case where someone was charged for being gay. It never happens. There's no Kenyan who has had to go through what Alan Turing went through in England. If there is, someone please let me know. So why is it still in our books? To make a point that it's not our culture. Simple as that. No one is going around the streets hunting for homosexuals. After all Kenya isn't Afghanistan. Cheers!

The homosexual laws , like most others laws in kenya were established by the European colonialist after deeming our previous waybof life as primitive. @@i-deegamingvideos6016 exactly you’re not being forced to like something. Your just supposed to show common decency and allow people to live their true self without being criminally persecuted. From your logic it would also be ok to forbid heterosexual behaviors since and I quote: „no one is inclined to like you wether you are STRAIGHT or not“

Not accepting Homosexuality is not being behind. It's a belief and people should respect other people's beliefs and cultures and not try to impose on them one's belief and lifestyle.

I hope someday Kenya will have clean and beautiful neighborhoods like other decent countries like Singapore. Every town in Kenya looks like a slum, unplanned, untidy, dusty, muddy. It's embarrassing.

About homosexuality its just disguising. We rather remain behind than be seen advanced for allowing homosexuality. I didn't know allowing homosexuality is being advanced.
