@@trenthieber726 Not at that point, on the underwater. It looks like he does some of the rotation off the wall, especially after the final turn. Video quality is not great for catching this tho, so it is hard to say for sure.

@@mandala3042 it's a gray area in the rule. I watched a D1 breaststroker do it at conference. You have to make your way to your stomach as you push off. Not sure this is faster though, plus oxygen deprivation to do it

Nah y’all are wrong you can push off on your back to do underwaters, people already do it on open turns, it’s only on IM when you must be towards your stomach Cause you can’t be on your back cause if you go on your back you are doing backstroke, and you must do each stroke once

doing a flip turn in fly is dq because you need to touch with both hands so idk how this counts. You have to do open turns
