for the hinge pins on the doors, use graphite powder for a lubricant. Graphite is non flammable and a good lubricant for high heat moving items like hinges. There is also a chimney add on piece we have in U.S. called "Magic Box", it is a box section for the chimney with a blower fan to better use and circulate the heat from the stove.
What a beautiful stove! And the location has a perfect view to the beauty of the land. Awesome job done by your wife and you. 🤗. Enjoy the warmth. Toto-chans snow pictures are fun to see. Learning, as we know is hard, but so worth it when you succeed. Nicely done! Peace 💫

thank you^^ I'm glad we did our best. Toto seems to love snow very much.(*^^*)
Was watching w/friend. They thought "overkill" on ceiling. I disagree. Fire resistant & heat reflecting. Building the fire from the "top down" is actually the BEST way. Large logs on bottom last longer. All you need now is a non-electric fan that sits on top. Heat from the fire box moves the blades & circulates heat. Only thing I would recommend, move the extinguisher a little farther away. This way you are able to 'approach' the fire safely if you ever need it. (We had our fire department inspect our stove & safety measures.) I truly enjoy your attention to detail! Thank you, from Ohio. :) :) :)

Thank you for your kind words. Fire is very scary, so I don't think I've been too careful. Move the fire extinguisher a little further away. I have a non-electric fan, but I completely forgot about it. Thank you for your advice.
Cementing fire bricks inside your fire will increase the heat retention meaning less wood used and increase the lifetime of your fire. Fire will corrode the inside of the fire after a couple years.

thank you^^ Extending fire life is a very good thing I will investigate.
