42 yrs ago my mom gave birth to me. My life has been a struggle from the beginning. I couldn't even of thought it being so. Chains of addiction of alcohol both parents to my self. These chains are broken down for good by our Lord Jesus thank you father

My dad, mom, brother and I are all four famous for being an Eagle Scout and also for being in the National Eagle Scout Hall of Fame. That’s basically the only thing that we’re famous for in this world. We’re all proud to be an Eagle Scout from several years ago.

This song speaks to the yearning in so many of us, to break the shackles of practical expectations, so that we could pursue our passions. One of the greatest tragedies in life is that we imprison ourselves in such expectations, and never truly exercise our talents.
@immariderdirector7607
@immariderdirector7607 5 жыл бұрын
Drake Santiago...this reply was speaking to so many at this moment... 4 years later the harder we attempt to unshackle our Unexcersized talents... The road becomes more and more Unacheivable...when couples become blinded by outside interference. Dividing The power Struggle into more than just 2 souls entertwinds in steady storms... Years go by cripling the union and involving what belongs between only 2. Unexcersising the Ability to remember facts instead of outside opinions. Money, time, life, are nothing more than A memory for thieves. Stealing the ability to Excersise True love was single handedly by Involvment of Ignorant relative opinions set you up for false projection of truth....not opinions of love..

Have had a lot people along my short 19 year road telling me I can't do it and 3 years ago I took a stand and became half of what I wanted to be. Listed as a volunteer right now but working to be a career fire fighter striving for success. I've proved them wrong and I'm going to be somebody someday

+Brandon Yetter I just retired from 20 years as a volunteer. I know you want a paycheck for doing what you love, but you are an unpaid professional. Don't ever let someone tell you that you are less of a firefighter because you don't cash a paycheck! We share the danger and in my state at least, receive the same training!

I'm in the same boat, brother. I've had people who doubted me. I had a 2nd grade teacher who actually had the audacity to tell my parents that I was unteachable and that I wasn't gonna get anywhere. I've been in the department since I was 16 (5 years now.), graduated high school, and graduated college. I'm now working on getting into a paid department. My motivation has been to do what I love doing and to prove her and everyone else like her wrong. Best of luck!

This is a song about determination. I was told I would never amount to anything in life and I hope I have proven lots of people wrong. First I married a wonderful lady and had a my pride and joy my son. I not only went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree in education but a masters as well. I have taught for 9 rewarding years and look forward to my new endeavor as an assistant principal at an elementary school. God is great and has lead me in the right direction.

This song is so good because so many people can relate. Anyone with a dream will be put down by those who lost theirs. For every man living his dream, there are ten boys who gave up on theirs. Those who fail seem to despise the ambition of others. they feel bitter and don't want anyone to feel what they could've had if they'd fought. It's a choice to succeed or fail. You gotta work for it and keep singing this song.

This hits home.. I'm 23 but I remember being a young boy as I'd lay down for bed I'd hear guitars and singing I'd sneak out the back door and sneak around the house andsit by the edge of the front porch outta sight as my grandpa played the guitar and my great uncle would sing his heart out and gimme cold chills every time that's where my love of music came from now I'm starting my own generation where I sit on the same porch and I play the same guitar I caught the young boy next door sneak off from his house so he could listen to me playing I pretended I didn't see him beside my porch and played everything my grandpa taught me. The next day I took my old guitar and placed it on their porch saying it's a gift to the young fella because I seen that same music sparkle in his eye when I played it's crazy how in life things go around and then they come around ❤️ thank you for everything grandpa rest easy

As I just lost my WONDERFUL Spouse Thomas Cook (boinerz -YT channel) He passed on June 27th of "Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) .It was just he and I and our dog Toby and cat Chloe. It was a traumatic death. We were together going on 34 years in January. I face this day alone with no one to share and with a broken heart and torn soul. Lord how I miss him... +zefronmember I agree with you 100% This was the best country around and these songs especially this one bring back so many great memories. I was about 14, 15 when this song was out. Back around 1994 95. Great music. I still listen country today and yea some of it is good but again as you said some of it is just pop/country sound.

Im gonna be somebody. I can't sing or act, but i can work and i believe in the lord. He has seen me through to a point where no one thought i could be, i know he isnt gonna leave me now. Finding him saved me from a life of hell. If any of you want saved, look for him between Matthews and Romans. I have been two years sober and i am no longer filled with hate. I was evicted for assaulting a man, now i am studying at uiuc law school. Thank you Lord

Travis Tritt is the best singer from the 90s. I grew up listening to him. I live by this song everyday. Especially since i became a father myself. I strive everyday to be a better man for my kids. But im assumimg this song is about his life story of wanting to be somebody.

That is because it is pretty much a rip off of the song from the chords to the basic idea for the song. There re too many similarities for it to be an accident. There are only so many chord progressions but it is beyond belief that he came up with the same chords and the same song idea. Why didn't he just cover the Bad Company tune?
