@@Liqudus A late reply sorry! But I did try to find some notes about the video lol. So from what I can remember; At the beginning she is surrounded by an older group of people, likely the youngest there and wears green, symbolising lack of experience but also growth, or the *want* to. The first outburst shows her making faces, having stiff movement, trying to surpress it. Which she tries to do again before giving up at 2:36. The outburst could symbolize something inside her wanting to break out of her shell, to not be this reserved, 'professional' and submissive person. Instead to be crazy, brash and free. There is an animalistic energy, (like pounding her chest), possibly anger as she runs through the building. Coming across the man in the hallway, 'attacking' him and flexing could mean the desire to be masculine, like the heros you might see in movies, not the usual damsel in distress trope. Then she's on stage, she takes a moment to push something away. Possibly pushing away the masculine and animalistic energy/urges to have a moment of grace, poise and femininity. Ballet. But she still comes back to the more wild energy, a possible meaning that there will always be such feelings/urges even if they are surpressed, there can be a mix of either/many. There was more but I sadly can't remember them or find the notes, sorry 😅 With all that said, these are just theories! Theories that came from a shared discussion on a subject excercise in dissecting art/media, to practice finding symbolyism/meanings to then try and understand. Would be interested in what other people might see or get from this video too outside of my own understanding~😊

To be honest, in that movie I found her more beautiful than Margot Robbey. Everyone was discussing how pretty Margot was, but for me she was overshadowed by Qualley. I'm still waiting for the moment when Qualley is called the most beautiful actress of hollywood.* When everyone was calling Jen Law the most beautiful actress I was like why no one is talking about Robbey? She is so perfect, she is like Sharon Stone of our decade. Recent years everyone is talking about Robbey and I'm like yeah, cool, finally you opened your eyes, what about paying attention to Qualley? *I know all those ratings are BS, and only 1 actress can't be considered "the most beautiful", there are always a few dozens of beautiful women, but still. If people do it - they should do it for Qualley. She is stunning AND crazy talented

Ever so often I come back to this ad just to check out its brilliance and the audience interpretation for this ad. And whats really impressive is that when you have such a blank (and wild) palette to work with - internal projections are free to run wild. I always thought this was about a breakdown. A complete breakdown starting with that single tear that runs down her face at the start but its amazing to see other (very valid) interpretations too! Amazing indeed.
