Hi. You are "cleaning" the "outside" of the bearing and the plastic cover and after that you apply grease on the outside of the bearing and on the bearing seal. That's not the proper way to service this pedals and equals to zero.

Hello, I clean the pedal body first with water and brush and then with the ultrasonic device. I grease the bearing only very little with a qualitative fat, this at intervals of 4 months. I think you need too much and wrong fat

The metal plate cover is missing for my pedal . Is that a bad thing ? Does it affect pedal ?

Use metal repair paste to fill the plate gap in the pedal
