In case of the absence of Azpi and Silva, I think Kepa should be our third captain. He has a strong commanding presence on the pitch or from the sidelines. He's been at the club for quite sometime that he pretty much is a senior player compared to the others. He is not afraid to express what he wants to say and communicates well with his teammates.

I used to be one of Kepa's biggest critics, but I have to give it to the man - he's really shone this season and is probably the most in-form goalkeeper in the Premier League right now!

@@dtplayz4956 Not even Close. De Gea has a save percentage of 70% good for 10th in the League. Meanwhile Kepa is putting up an incredible 82% save percentage good for 1st in the league, not just this year but I couldn't find a higher save percentage in any previous season (stats are spotty the earlier you go but definitely the highest percentage in the last 8 seasons). So yeah Kepa is on historical form RN, better than De Gea has ever achieved. Obviously save percentage isn't the only way to rate a keeper but it is the most important stat, besides I can't really think of any weaknesses in Kepa's game RN or atleast no areas where De Gea greatly excels beyond him. So I think it's undeniable when you look at the stat's, Kepa is the best Keeper in the League right now. Alas the media won't pay him his dues because that'd mean admitting they were wrong (and don't know ball). They roasted us for his £70m fee, they claimed he was washed after a single poor season (I don't here anyone saying that about Mendy), they said we should sell him. Thankfully we didn't listen, Potter gave him another chance and has been repaid tenfold. He's good enough to be between the sticks for the next decade and really justify his fee. So whenever some Media moron tells you Kepa's not reliable or that we should sell him remember if clubs listened to the pundits Man U would've sold De Gea and have Henderson as their NO.1.

I mean nothing against Slonina but Kepa's been incredible this season, he has the highest save percentage in the league with 81.7%. So yeah Slonina would literally have to become top 3 in the world, showing prime Buffon levels of greatness to displace Kepa RN. Unfortunately Kepa's greatness has gone greatly underappreciated by the media, I've even heard pundits seriously claim that we should sell him in the summer (unless we get Donnarumma their really aren't any upgrades out their). The reason for this is that they spent years slagging him off and admitting his greatness would expose their lack of ball knowledge. They were hating on him before his poor 2nd season, as soon as they heard the £70m price-tag they where roasting us, claiming we spent the best part of a 100 m's on a clear downgrade form Courtois, how wrong were they. Now he's putting up numbers that ever Courtois couldn't hit and if the club has any sense he'll be our No.1 for the next 5-10 years, making that price-tag seem like a bargain when it's all said and done.

Fun fact. Kepa's save percentage is currently 81.7% which I believe is the highest since Van der Sar in 2010. He's by far the best keeper in the Prem RN and the best Chelsea keeper since Cech (who registered an absurd 91.3% in 2007 the highest in Prem history). So it turns out breaking the transfer record on him wasn't as crazy as the media claimed and he's paying us back a save at a time. Most other keepers would let the mistakes and criticism crush them and their careers, just look at Karrius and his career as of late. But Kepa's strong mentality is incredible, not giving up accepting the No.2 spot and working his ass of to get his chance and now he's repaid Potters trust in him tenfold.

Here's my review on their training - Kepa - 9.2 - Great Awareness, Positioning and Reflexes. Definitely would be my first pick Bettinelli - 7.5 - Pretty underated in my opinion Slonina - 7.5 - A young player, great potential, and his saves look too easy Beach - 7.3 - Didn't really expect that much from him, but he went past my expectations, great positioning as a goalkeeper without having the need to dive, which can limit the reaching of a ball if it is higher up
