I stripped mine down as much as possible. Replaced the landing gear with three lightweight Hope Tech NG-20's . Replaced the cargo holds with lighter,bigger Galleon S203's. Reduced it to three levels including the landing bay. Eventually upped to a 40 power class c reactor. Mass of 2320. Max speed of 180 , mobility of 73, 28 ly jump range.

I don't get why the ships designed by the developers suck so bad they went to school for this and they have me going up and down 50 ladders in one ship and every ship should have science and a workshop.

Looks good but imo could be a level lower (height-wise I mean) especially if one flies in 3rd person. My only real gripes are the low-ish mobility rating (easy fix with high end engines) and the ladder situation that needs sorting (although thats a bit of a headache to sort out in the builder but companionways help!)

oh so u had to go to a bunch of different ship techs to complete the build.. dang that makes replicating a lot more difficult. this is an awesome build btw. ima try my luck at it

Hardest part is keeping the ship flyable while getting the parts when it’s not the home ship we should be able to save the build regardless then have a finalize stage maybe with a little fan fair like real ships

I'm not a fan of that big Taiyo bridge. I seem to be in the minority though because it seems like over half of the builds on r/starfieldships uses it. It feels so awkward inside. There's so much wasted space that you can't get to by having the front of it taper down so much.

I'm sorry, I'm sure this is great but it's too hard to follow even trying to put the playback speed of you building it to 0.25% I would love to see a step by step/list of parts for this as i think it would get a lot more attention, otherwise though great job looks really good

My Kepler does not have any beds. I tried to Chang the mess hall to the 4 beds. But it won’t let me do it. I’m doing something wrong.

After you choose the size of the hab, do you select it, press Space and use the left and right arrows to chance the variants? Also keep in mind not all hubs have beds. Only all in one berths, living quarters and brigs have, and captain quarters I think.

My problem with this ship is the engines at 333 mass! Compared to freestar rangers ship much worse engines. Shield also not that much better than ranger ship.

To make the most of C class ships you really need to go for best reactor so you can power all the baddest equipment (notably shield and weaponzz). Mass doesn’t matter that much for C class (within reason) as long as you mobility rating is good. Although your jump range does suffer if you cant get a top notch Grav drive. Star Eagle is pretty good (actually the best early free ship you can get!) but towards mid to end game its just not strong enough to take on multiple mid-high level ships, especially on max difficulty.

Ima be honest doing it this way nobody is gonna try to make it I suggest literally building it step by step or taking it apart then reversing the video because the way you did it is very confusing

I don’t remember the exact number now but it was not expensive at, definitely way under 100k, maybe closer to 50k because I didn’t change the engines, grav drive and reactor. Those are the most expensive things.
