other interpretation is he's welcoming us to his own truman show, a movie he claimed parallels the life he's been living. A portion of it is him mocking the media, when he was falsely accused of drug usage. Then the train scene is a reference to michigo, he also danced some knocked out choreo. In the ending, he's stepping out and he became himself again but also g-dragon the idol. as if he's at peace with himself and he's ready to be an artist again

gd talked about the meaning of power on yoo quiz (variety show) yesterday. its about the satire of the power of the media. just so you know, around this time last year, he went on an investigation bcs of baseless allegations and media played a huge part on it but in the end, all of it were proven wrong. it was such a power move for him to release this one a year later and just as the lyrics says, “prove them all wrong i’ve got all the receipts” because he speaks his truth. This was definitely not a song trying to appeal to current k-pop trends or worldwide music trends. It's unique, the MV is super unique, very G-D. It reminds me visually of some of his wilder MVs, but that so LIKE GD that this MV is pleasing us fans. It's his voice.
