Hi Jeeja, i find it difficult to use freshly extracted coconut. Instead, can i use TETRAPACK coconut milk or coconut cream? I use coconut milkand cream from these two brands : URBAN PLATTER and COCO MAMA. Pls advice.

Hi dear, back in action again. Wow that is a tray full of lacy thosai, the name I give for that lovely flimsy, wonderful snack. I think it will go well with scraped coconut and jaggery for breakfast, mutton dalcha or moong dhall curry for lunch. In fact it will be compatible with all kinds of chutneys. Interesting recipe.Can I use Basmati rice, the thin whitish long grain. My place is still under the blooming lock down. Sometimes, I just can't get the correct things by ordering on line.
