I think its alot just their sheer skill and ability to maximise the amount of gold, despite misplays. So many games they are down kills yet even or up in gold. This allows them to have the confidence to take fights knowing they can likely win

Me and my mate came to this exact conclusion in their last series, when they were 0-7 and dominated. I genuinely think they are using lower seeded teams as scrims, knowing that even if they mess it up and lose a game, they'll just lock in and 2-1 them. Maybe they feel they need more practice from a losing game state for the next time they are up against GenG??
