Ray Charles has one of the most powerful melodic voices I've ever heard, everything The Genius touches turns to gold.

It’s pretty amazing how beautiful this is and how great ray is. When he puts his arm around Kermit and he was never blind at all.

Ray and Kermit sound really holesome. I love how Kermit became my very favorite Muppet of Sesame Street.

The thing is that the little kids who saw this piece of art (and they liked it) were probably very much unaware of the fact of Ray being completely blind. Imagine them realising this later after they grew up a little, and saw some of the nasty sides of sociaty.

Wow! A moment from the 11/16/75 episode of Cher. Haven't seen this one is a long time. Shame we can't see the entire episode. The Kermit and Chastity scene is kind of cute as well. At least that was shown on the VH1 version of this episode.

Does anyone have the Muppets' appearance on Cher's show from September 7, 1975? I'm looking for that one particular scene with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.
@bluepoet38 жыл бұрын
Sorry.This clip is actually sourced from a PBS special called "The Wonderful World of Jim Henson" that aired in 1994... But it's origin was that Cher program.

It's a perfectly valid question, it's just that bringing up a disability is a bit taboo because you quickly end up defining a person by it, when of course Ray Charles is more than a blind man.
