I’m thinking of starting a model railway. Get a nice table put on a freight yard and make myself a station for passenger services, all the modern freight and passenger stuff could go there! Ah I can imagine all day! Models are so expensive so won’t be for a while aha

Hi Susannah, Thanks for taking me around the shop its a long way from here, they do have a lot of nice loco's better than seeing them in boxes.I am very disappointed you did not buy anything I went to my "local" shop on the bus today and managed to spend about £200 but we do need to support these shops or they will not be there and we will have to always buy online. Hi Susannah. Im wondering if you can please pass on to me any info you may have in regards to Hornby Class 50s Dcc chip problems. I have Superb and Achilles in NSE livery. Im after dcc chipping both of these but I have heard they blow up chips as the mother board has wiring problems. Can you please tell me if you know of a FIX to get around this problem. Hope your new layout starts soon as Im sorry you have taken down 2layouts recently with both your moves. Keep up your great vids. Thanks for any help you may have on the 50s problems

Hi Eddie, I did here that the early 50's 50002 and 50045 both NSE did have issues. I have 50002 but not fitted a sound decoder in it as of yet or any decoder. I will let you know how I get on. I'm guessing the only way maybe to replace the mother board say from Peters Spares or somewhere like that. I have 4 or 5 50's left to chip and Superb is one of them. I hope I've helped in some way. Thanks Susannah, I have read some people have tried to get replacement mother boards but trying to source the correct one is a problem as the new 50s boards are totally different. I will probably just run on dc as its an expensive game if they do blow chips. Thanks for your help, keep making your vids as I like watching your channel.

i.m sorry Susannah but find Kernow models very expensive indeed so do not buy any more locos from him i now go on line for my locos and rolling stock i live in Cornwall and he is the only train shop that i know of down here and i compare his prices to the ones on line and and he is dearer by far. though i love this hobby its become a big rip off.end of rant. PS enjoy your videos

the problem is this hobby is getting very expensive these days,100 pounds or more for a loco what child has that.and me a pensioner.i am happy with my triang locos
