Hiya, what a great video, thank you Mareike and Kernocraft, for this Blog, very informative. To call the jewellery simple is not a put-down but a complement, easy on the eye, and the purse. Good, easy to wear, mix and match with ease and always a good market. This proves that jewellery does not have to be complex, it can be, but not required. An easy style, very nice, thank you...Steve...

thank you. I enjoyed seeing your displays and general set up. Just curious, ... most of the markets in Texas are open air -- set up your own canopy and all your displays. Are inside markets typical in your area? Initially, I lovingly, but relucttantly, did markets in partnership with my daughter just to support her endeavors. After a bit, I was hooked. When she retired from the craft circuit -- babies interfere with your crafting time - I continued because I enjoyed it and did not want to quit.

Fantastic video, thanks for all the great tips. I'm really impressed how much you have it together considering you were quite new to jewellery making. I've been making for a while and still feel like I'm trying to bash a Piñata blindfolded. Just wondering as well if you would be prepared to share/sell your stock sheet system, it' looks so organised and streamlined.

Great video! It’s exactly what I needed to hear because I’ve been looking into selling at markets. I make jewelry out of brass and copper. You said you coat your pieces with renaissance wax. Does that coating last on rings. I recently made brass rings and am unsure how to coat them.
@kernowcraft3 жыл бұрын
Hi Pam! So glad you found the video helpful. You can use renaissance wax on your rings however do keep in mind that as rings have direct contact with skin/lotions etc, it is more likely that the coating will wear off quicker. You can read more about the wax here: www.kernowcraft.com/jewellery-making-tips/texturing-patina-finishing-advice/how-to-prevent-tarnish-with-renaissance-wax There is also Midas Finish Seal Lacquer which is an alternative option depending on your preference: www.kernowcraft.com/products/silversmithing-and-tools/sanding-polishing-supplies/item/midas-finish-seal-lacquer-1-pint-c290 - Hope that helps!

What do I do when I’m not shy at all to do Market but the logistics of the tent and table setup is what intimidates and stops me?
@kernowcraft2 жыл бұрын
That's definitely a common worry! I'd recommend contacting the market directly to talk through the process, where they can also answer any questions and make things a little clearer. Also do a practice run of your table set up at home. Hope that helps!
