This one is such a great example of the uniqueness of this house. Like Andy Tauer and Mark Sage, John Pegg gives us the kind of originality that seems to only come from self taught perfumers. The frag world would be much poorer without these folks.

Growing up in Detroit, so many of John Pegg's fragrances are overwhelmingly nostalgic to me ... he somehow bottled a Michigan childhood. I think it has to do with the Maple/Amber note used in Follow, Unknown Pleasures, and some others

Wow been a while since this one has been mentioned. Always seemed very hard to find since it was first introduced. A Fall day in a bottle. Maybe from the early Fall in New England when that first hint of crispness in the evening air begins.

This one and R’Oud elements are the two from this house that I enjoy; I wish that the opening would persist throughout (realize not possible). The rest, generally, find just too sweet. Thanks man, enjoy your exploration! Edit: speaking of Anise, have you smelled Lolita Lempicak Illusions Noires Au Masculin Eau de Minuit? Need an educated opinion!

Hey Ram I don’t know much about the house but this sounds interesting. I was a bit put off the brand when I heard about It Follows which is meant to be so nuclear it last for weeks on clothes even after washing them 😂

I tried a sample of Still Life In Rio this week, I had high hopes. On my skin it smells like sweet mango tea; I’m sure some people like the sound of that but to me it’s nauseating 😬
