I wouldn't call WARGASM Nu-Metal band. They sound more like a digital hardcore band, like Atari Teenage Riot, but with a pop/pop-punk influence. Either way, it's good to see the younger generations pulling from the past and trying to do something that is theirs.

I had this video in my "watch later" list, I finally got to it, and I absolutely loved it ! I love shoegaze (amongst many, many, MANY other rock and metal genres) and I really like the Japanese bands spin on rock, from Boris (who released an EP with Coaltar of the Deepers recently) to envy, and all the bands you featured in your video sound amazing, and I can't wait to listen to them all !! Here's a recommendation for you, in case you still read the comments on this vid : I discovered a great Korean shoegaze band on the soundtrack of a k-drama called Inspector Koo, and the band is called TRPP. They released 2 albums so far and they're pretty good !

Discovered these guys at Graspop this year. Wasn't alone in rating them the best performers of the festival! Didn't surprise me to find that the female singer was from Northern Ireland (where I grew up). Elements of Therapy?, Pitchshifter and and some of her vocals reminded me of Meg Lee Chin. Loved it!
