I adopted my little daughter today...her mom left her when she was 3...now she is 5, still has rough memories of her mommy till now but she has been in foster with us since she was 3 and she told me that she has better memories with us and her new sisters...I had tears in my eyes and all I could tell her was that even if she wasn't made from us, she is made for us. We, now as a family of 5 with 3 daughters now, we cried holding each other 😭😭💗💗

I lost my first son at the age of 21 in the military. I had 4 miscarriages and gave up for years. I am now 38 and fell on my knees and Told God I'm sorry for blaming him for everything. I had the desire in my heart to be a Mother. I never had. I was in foster home and then raised by my grandmother. I had no voice. I was blessed with my Daughter and she was in NICU for the first five months. I look at her everyday and cry. This song I play for her. She may not understand the words, but she loves the melody. That's the sweetest thing I've ever heard. We lost my daughter on the 27th of March 2024. she was 5 months and 4 days Old. No signs, no symptoms. She died from aspiration. The what ifs keep me up at night. People around me tell me that I was a great father but I feel so guilty for surviving instead of her. I had a chance and she didn't. This song came on on my KZbin station and made me pull over in my car. I wasn't expecting this song to hit so hard, I've never heard this before

I can totally relate to this Bonnie! I was 8m pregnant when I lost my dad from a long brutal fight of cancer & parkinsons, and a tragic death a few weeks prior of a best friend. God knew I needed my baby girl, she filled my cup with so much love and helped me heal when I was hurting the most. Motherhood is truly a gift!
