I really think she captures Fantine perfectly! I think people forget that Fantine is actually pretty young but has had a hard life already which instantly makes her look and act older than she is. Kerry really captures her youth I think :) whereas the other actresses, amazing as they are, really don't capture the full character enough for me.. Kerry is just A-MAZ-INGGGG!!

i think youy will find that anne hathaway is a fully trained singer second her acting is amazing shes incredibly versatile and im not biased as i actually didnt particularly like anne's portrayel as fantine but that certainly doesnt mean shes not talented or give reason to be cruel about her.

Ruthie Henshall is by far the best Fantine. Kerry is technically stunning, but in both Wicked and Les Mis, her acting isn't brilliant. Her voice is great for Fantine though - her belt is phenomenal
