In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Kerry's reaction is adorable and hilarious, but for some reason Alex cracks me up there even more. Something about how he's relentlessly shoving more shapes across the board and Keri's saying, 'That's not how it goes!' and he just very calmly says, 'Yes it is.' I don't know why, but I just find it injuriously funny.

Personally, I thought Kerry was a better version of Liza: that sort of "bosh!" mentality, but Kerry excels because it seems like she actually had a competitive streak in her, whereas with Liza, there were times she genuinely (in her words) "couldn't be arsed" about a task. It's made doubly funny in retrospect when we see how Kerry treated her trophy a couple seasons later.

They were both amazing in their own way. I don't think their approach was very similar, so I see no point in comparing them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Kerry was great because she was super-competitive but at the same time supportive of her teammates and more than willing to admit when something she did was shite. Liza was great because she was like the calm, laid-back aunt who you expect to be proper about everything but then goes ahead and forces someone to put their bare arse into a pie.

I'd say she and Ed probably have the best odds. Liza's excellent when she puts the effort in but there are times when she genuinely doesn't care and that might hurt her. With Lou, it depends on how generous Greg is on the points system. And of course, we need to know who Champion #10 is.
