This was such an amazing interview! Robin asked the appropriate questions and Kerry told her truth. Kerry should hold her head up high with love and keep it moving! We all do have secrets! Love conquers all! I ordered her book and got mine on Sunday. 9/24/23.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow, just like me, my dad that raised me is not my biological father. I already knew my mom had been married before and had me, but we never spoke about it to anyone else. She’s right love is thicker than blood. 😊 I can’t wait to read her book. She’s terrific.❤

She quickly added that part in the Book since the Show _"Finding Your Roots"_ did her DNA test and found out she and her dad were not a Match. The TV Show already knows so she rather tell her story than have them tell the Press. Her parents should've told her after she grew up and was in College, old enough to handle it. *As a Child & Teenager she would've been Destroyed knowing she was conceived via Sperm Donor* and would've been teased if anyone found out. So her parents tried to protect her from that and did the right thing back then. The _Eating Disorder_ mentioned in other interviews is from her own insecurities trying to fit a certain _standard of beauty_ to Reach Stardom. She tried to use her situation as an Excuse for years of that.

Kerry could take a DNA test and try to find out who her biological father is. Whatever she decides, I wish her and her family all the best.

@@ntl5983 No, she didn't. She's never said that she took a DNA test. In other interviews, she says that she found out because her parents finally told her.

@@allthingsnu4673 She did, she went on the show Finding Your Roots with Dr. Henry Louis Gates in 2018 (the show hasn't aired), as part of the show the guests are asked to take a DNA test, and so are their parents if they're still alive. She said she suspected something when her parents, especially her father was reluctant to take the test... they took it and then asked Dr. Gates if the secret would come out, obviously he said yes... that's when they decided to tell her the truth.

Well, it’s a bit two-fold. They told her bc she did a DNA analysis test for the “Finding Your Roots” show and they knew it would be revealed. In a separate interview she indicated she is searching for the bio-dad for informational purposes (health info, etc).

It spins you finding out about adoption or other circumstances. My mom always told me someone else was my daddy. I only half believed her cause she told crazy stuff. I finally took dna test age 55 and couldnt get the tree on ancestry to make sense with my dads name and cousin matches. So scratched it all and dug into dna cousin matches and records and sure enough my mom wasnt lying She did tell me he died years and years ago. I found an obituary for my paternal grandfather and it listed all these grandkids and 4 from my new found father and i realize i have more siblings. I contacted one of them thinking it was safe to open the can of worms.. after all the dad is passed. Well he was very much alive. And the wife he cheated on is alive and they knew about me. They rejected me. He doesnt have long to live but at least i have the gaps filled.

Why is Kerry Washington in such hurry to tell her life story? She hasn't reached the half mark of her life. And Why are we in such a hurry to release to the public every gory detail that hurts us . Aren't we acting as a victim and looking for sympathy? Enough!!!!

Louise Joy Brown who was born on July 25, 1978 in England was the first ever in vitro fertilisation (IVF) baby. If Kerry Washington was born on January 31, 1977 it is impossible for her to have been born from a sperm donor. Somebody is lying.
@Musicball
@Musicball Жыл бұрын
Sperm donation isn't only used in IVF. It is also used in Intrauterine Insemination, which dates back centuries. As I understand it, it's sort of like the "turkey baster" method farmers use to impregnate the animals. In humans, the sperm is injected into the woman during an ovulation period. I believe this is how it works, but you should probably Google for more accurate research.
@ReRe_22
@ReRe_22 Жыл бұрын
@@Musicball right we all know that the "turkey baster" method can achieve a pregnancy and that this method dates back centuries but the way that Kerry explained the procedure at the 36:30 mark she specifically says that her parents were innovators and risk takers and that it was very secretive. Nothing about her explanation alludes to the "turkey baster" method being used.

Makes sense why she’s such a huge abortion advocate. I always thought her love for Planned Parenthood was in poor taste. Especially when she advocated for them while heavily pregnant 😮
@jammzy2959

Loving a woman's right to choose is not in poor taste in any situation. Not minding your own business and judging people is. When I was pregnant I was still pro-choice so what does one have to do with the other? Nothing.I chose to have my baby and other people choose not to. None of that concerns you .

@@kmurray559 sweetie, I am minding my own business because your poor taste and dumb comments have nothing to do with me... neither does another woman's womb. I've always been pro-choice... through all stages of my pregnancy and even still as my beautiful daughter turns two. Get over it... or play in traffic. Still none of my business.... but either one works. Goodbye. Actually wait...I think you think that she was advocating for heavily pregnant women to get abortion. I'm sorry, if I had known you were ret@rded, I wouldn't have been so rude.

@@kmurray559the irony of you telling someone to mind their business, while you worry about another woman’s womb! Sweep in front of your own door before you worry about anyone else. If you do not donate to charity or help support struggling mothers than you have ZERO say in what another woman decides. There’s no debating that
