I hope they will stop making her jump in the bed with every man she mets, I just hate that everything has to be related to black women being sexually violated and broken from it, we were not all molested and I wish a character could be shown that came from a loving, supportive family that had men protect a young lady by all means. My father died tragically in a car accident from a drunk driver hitting him. My uncles, cousin, men in my neighborhood, his mason lodge brothers stepped up and was there for my mom, and her children (3 girls, 1 boy). Can we please show a mother who choose her kids over a man for once, my God a lot of black mothers did that! I'm sick of this narrative!!!
