Looks good, Baxter. I may become a Kershaw fan after all. I bought their “Iredale” recently, and it likewise has good build quality. This red bone looks gorgeous; gotta try one!

4:00 it reminds me of the cranberries my grandfather use to grow in the cranberry bogs in Carver Mass. my grandfather used to tell me about the Indians used cranberries to die stuff and it immediately made me think about dyeing the bone with cranberries. Hope you had a great birthday that was a special one.Your collection is amazing just thinking about your videos and just imagine all your knives together I’d be awesome if you made a collection video but in parts like share 5 to 10 knives per a video lol it’s just something that I was thinking about.

I've only ever bought the Culpepper. I think the red bone model has the best overall feel to it. Best action of the bunch, compared to the other variations. For the price they're terrific.

Just picked up all the Kershaw red bones. Really great value. My trapper came with the extra dark burgundy color and the strongest pull, too. Excellent fit and finish. My only complaint is the pull on the clip point blade on the stock man is weak, maybe a 4 at best. I've been carrying the trapper every day since I got it.

Yah the stockman is a weaker pull than the trapper for sure. Wish they all had that pull. I was pleasantly supprised by this one!

This is one I can really really appreciate I’ve been looking at this knife well over a year now thinking about picking one up and I just wasn’t sure because I didn’t know how to fit and finish was or how the quality was but this is why I really like this now I can pull the trigger and get one of these myself now that I know that it’s as nice as I thought it might bevideos and other peoples reviews and thoughts and ideas help me decide whether I wanna buy something. Glad I found your review as this one flew under my radar. Saw it on a Finnish website. I have nothing against quality Chinese knives when they are available at such low prices. I'm one that dislikes swedges because I use my knives. Swedging is painful on the thumbs when whittling using common techniques. Swedged 'whittlers' are only for fashion vs function.
