I'm a bit late by 2 years but I want to thank you both for this reaction on this video by Kery James who is THE most committed French raper in his lyrics. His lyrics are politically committed and he is never afraid to say what he thinks. All this without being vulgar or inciting hatred. Kery James is a must in France and is THE reference in French rap games. Kery James has always made a point of honor, once he had the means to produce by himself, to do what he wanted. That means conscious rap. To do this, he had to do "commercial" rap and appear on Skyrock radio to make a name for himself and an audience. Once he had acquired all that, he took off and now these musics are pure messages that awaken consciences.
