Also written with 2 Ns Lannigan. Got plenty of other names. But only found 2 album versions on that recording website catalogue and one excellent by Cady Finlayson, and 2 old céilí band versions. Anyone knows a duet or trio studio album version by any chance? It seemed popular enough ar my session in Brussels but found so few album recordings of it. 🤷🏻 Excellent playing Paul Young as usual. I liked your duet with Sarah too. Or a trio if one includes the fluffy cute mutt in it.

This is awesome! Thank you. I have a big question!!! I played a C-#/D button box a few years ago. I was thinking of getting back into this. Would you recommend a BC or a C#/D to get back into playing??? I was reading that the BC accordion has more finger movement but less Bellows movement. I was told that it might be a better instrument for a beginner like myself. What is your opinion? Thank you for this awesome video!

These instruments seem so limited to these major scale songs.

In my (limited!) understanding, the instruments are mostly constrained by the keys in which the traditional songs are played. A BC accordion has all the chromatic notes, so could play in any key, though some notes are on the push, others on the pull. But its sort of a "right accordion for the job" thing. There's an accordion for nearly any type of music and style of play.
