Looking back on this song, back then when it came out I only thought it may have something to do with Luke because of how he stopped her for creating the music she wanted to make. But now when I listen to this song... After the accusations, after the court day and the picture of seeing her cry, it's something else. It's so deep, so sad.. It's really a cry for help ;-;

I keep on dancing, with the devil - She's stuck making pop music with Dr. Luke I sold my soul, it's a dead end road, there ain't no turning back - signed to her record label, can't leave it Your love is made of dirty gold, but I'm the one who sold my soul - Luke does anything and everything for money, which Kesha realizes she got herself into a mess I'm all yours until the end, a holy war I'll never win - She's giving up hope on being free Almost every single line in this song is a metaphor and these dumb fuckers commenting "Illuminati slut, whore, trash, etc." need to actually know what your talking about before writing stupid and irrelevant comments. Kesha's been struggling for so long and all she receives is more hate from people who don't know her at all, she's one of the most underrated artists and deserves much more respect.

The thing about music is that it's 95% personal. Music is usually about the lives of the artist or stories that the artist has been involved in somehow. There is nothing to suggest that she isn't speaking about herself.

Case in point. The character within a piece doesn't not have to be the creator. Dancing with the Devil is about someone who has sold their soul and now realizes the eternal torment she (or he) is in. Despair, regret, and grief are the emotions given through the character. The character obviously isn't proud of selling their soul. She does't worship the devil in this piece, she don't right despises the fact that she can't retrieve her soul from his clutches.

Even though she admitted to writing and rewriting Die Young to say exactly what she wanted it to because she didn't want to misrepresent herself to the world. She only claimed she was "forced" when people got upset about the lyrics. Even if her manager encouraged her to write it. Shes clearly along for the ride and has sold her soul to the Devil. Which is what this song is about. I guarantee in reality this has very little or nothing at all to do with her manager even if shes lied about it.

I am a little monster but I have always been a die hard kesha fan since day 1 (TikTok), and this song is a METAPHOR she's reffering to Dr Luke her producer who has been emotionally,physically, and sexually abusing her for years.. she said so her self in her lawsuit, the tea was spilt this week, they have a binding contract and all kesha wants is to be set free...she was yyoung and wanted to be a star and show case her talent and dr luke took advantage of that.. give kesha her creative freedom and set her free from that devil (metophorically speaking)

@TheHabitableZone10 жыл бұрын
She has been forced to sing songs she didn't want to sing like Die Young. But there's a lot more to it than just not giving her creative freedom. She has been bullied, threatened and emotionally abused by her boss. Her recent mental and physical breakdown was probably the result of the years of mistreatment she's had to deal with. She needs to escape from him both from creative freedom and for her mental and physical well being.

Do not be led in to the darkness by today's artists. The Bible warns us that in the end times there will be much temptation. No matter how much you have sinned or the sins you have committed the Lord will always have open arms to you. Things are easy on earth if you sin, fame and fortune are what the devil has to offer, but the Lord offers much more. Please pray for strength in these times. We are the children of God, and he wants us to come home with him.

She never admits to it in this piece. The character within this song is in despair about selling her soul and fear of the eternal torment. There is no praise for the devil. There is no worshiping of how great he is within this song. I hear the words of regret and remorse. I feel spite for the devil. The character despises the devil for keeping her soul in the infernal and eternal dance. The holy war she can not win is the war for her eternal soul that the devil has. Remember Lucifer was an angel

He knows EVERYTHING that will happen. He went forward with creation because He saw the outcome. Those who would come to Him. Those who would accept Him. Those who through His sacrifice would rise above their sin nature and be glorified. WE are responsible for death. It was through man that death came into the world and its through our continuing sin that death and disease continue to reign. Freewill is our gift and it is our curse.

The song is about Dr. Luke and how he's controlling her and he decides what songs go on the record. Since this song is about him, he didn't like it, nor did he want it on the album. Ke$ha, Pebe (her mom), and Dr. Luke all argued about what songs were going to be on Warrior, but ultimately, Dr. Luke got his way.
