Ya'll really reaching in the comment section. The whole point of the song is she doesn't want to be with a man that's going to complain about every little thing. As a woman myself, I can totally agree that a lot of woman are annoying like this and since her preference is men, she doesn't want to be with a man like that. Growing a pear just means grow up, act better, be brave. Ya'll are literally talking about a woman who was one of the first major figures in feminism, LGBT ally, and just embracing differences. Some of ya'll are only trying to find things wrong with it.

This is not transphobic, as many of the (trans!) commenters in this comment section have already pointed out. It’s about her relationship with a cis-hetero man who’s acting whiny and immature, and she’s telling him to stop being a p*ssy and grow some b*lls. Not everything has to be about trans people, and this song has nothing to do with them. And even if she DID mean the “dude with a vag” line literally (I’m pretty sure we can all agree it’s metaphorical though) she’s allowed to have her preference. She’s allowed to be attracted to penises instead of vaginas. I’m pretty sure she supports the LGBT+ community, but just because you support someone doesn’t mean you owe them sexual attraction. You can be supportive of trans people’s rights without necessarily being attracted to trans people-you don’t owe anyone sex or attraction in order to validate them. It’s totally okay to validate someone with platonic support, with no sexual element involved.
