Thank you very much for this workshop, you are the only one I have seen that does teach you what you have to focus on and how to improve, which is extremely useful for someone self-taught like me. ❤❤ I would also like to add one more piece of advice: Do what you can to ENJOY the process, not the result. Because if you don't enjoy it, it will be easier to abandon it and there will be no point in continuing.

Sooooo true about style!!! People do this with music!!!! I have zero desire to FIND style. The last thing I want is a style. I want to be so diverse about my art no 2 drawings look the same. I want all styles. I want to draw and play music with huge diversity.

This is so helpful! I kind of know many of these things from here and there, but putting all this together in a progressive sequence that takes learning forward is super helpful for self learning artists like me. Thank u so much. I wonder if there is an infographic on this. Maybe I will make and share it with everyone. I can put it on my wall so it will keep reminding me where to focus.

This was super helpful to start my drawing journey. Thank you so much :) My plan is to start drawing digitally as i am comfortable with only pencil and paper as of now. Beginning with all the foundations you mentioned on a tab to get comfortable and improve my drawing skill. Your beginner learning course was super helpful to build foundation also cartooning people (course i registered) was amazing too. But as your other students, i have realized my foundation isnt good enough (honestly i suck at it), so starting from scratch again. Super excited to start off. Hope the boss monster doesn't block the way 😅

Some takeaway that I got is Can I let go of my ego that I did well in art before and I know art so that I can learn the basics really really well? I don't think I can learn further on broken fundamentals. I came far but this is farthest I can go. Have to go back to start and dig deeper for stronger roots.

Thank tou you it was really helpful. As a self taught artist we often think we are not begginers after making art for 2 years or something. I did the same mistake. Not knowing basics and avoiding them. Thus my art didn't improve.

I have been trying to learn to draw for about 7 months now and i feel stuck. Been drawing heads skulls and tried to do anatomy but my fundamentals are lacking. But at the same time i am a bit confused about a few things and the thing is. How will a box, a spher, a cylider and lines and shapes going to help me be able to draw an attractive face or an apealing if you will? It just makes no sense and another thing i wonder about is this. Lets say i go through a boot camp of just focusing on boxes perspektiv lines ecetra ecetra. How will i even know when i am ready to move on? Also how will i know if i have done it right? I dont have the money to join your course. And discord is nice but there's en issue. Alot lf people that dont seem to know what there talking about giving me feedback... Some of them seem to know a bit more but its not really the same when there's one person saying one thing ans then another saying somthing else. You can see how this is confusing and isnt very reliable. 😢

why is every video about learning art structured like those "beta to alpha, self improvement for men" courses. and by that i mean they all say the most banal shit imagniable so that the novices think they are useful but at the end they got nothing
@KeshArt6 ай бұрын
I don't understand. Are you saying this is structured that way? If so how?
@sonoio8696 ай бұрын
@@KeshArt I might have sound blunt here nad if I offended you I say sorry. I am in a really hard position in my art journey and I'm really in desperate search for a solution and nothing i searched for ever felt helpful. The beginner’s stuff is eye catching for folks who are just starting out, but once we get into the nitty-gritty, it gets a bit confusing. Like, I get the basics of copying lines, breaking things down into shapes, and making steady lines, but then what? It’s like hitting a brick wall. I’ve tried a bunch of courses that start off the same way, but then leave me hanging when it comes to the more complex stuff. It would be awesome if you could show us how to find simpler shapes, instead of just saying “practice” or “let it flow”. I’ve been grinding away at this for days, but instead of getting better, it feels like I’m going backwards. And you know what? It’s kinda like those ‘self-improvement for men’ courses that have the similar fornat of saying "if you follow these steps you will become XYZ" and at the end that never happens. Anyway, just thought I’d share. Thanks for listening!

@@sonoio869 Hey, No worries :) I totally understand your position. Ive been there multiple time and it can be very frustrating when the path is uncertain and you are constantly hitting the same road block whilst putting in a lot of work. How about I do this? can you drop me an email (kesh@keshart.in) - with the following details - What style/kind of art you are doing? - What are you goals/ working towards? - Some example of your current artwork - How long you've been deliberately practicing. and you MAIN ROADBLOCK / Challenge you are facing. Ill diagnose it and make a plan to address your issue and send you a video on it. (in case you are wondering, what will I get?) Ill get to solve your problem and share that solution with others who are facing the same issues. (Plus ill feel good lol) let me know! ill be happy to help :) p.s I understand those Self improvement side of things as well. as I guy who's consumes that kinda content, ost of it is just fluff. Ive seen that doing the basic things for many years yields the results i want. keep at it buddy and dont stop.
