Hare Krishna. I was intensely moved by the entire interview and discussion. The answers were so simply communicated and references to Bhagavat Gita and other philosophers were extremely relatable to the times we live in. It's discussions like this that will truly spread the science of the Gita. Please continue your path of spreading Krishna consciousness as a brilliant orater to all generations.

In what way has the young host been disrespectful? He is an enthusiastic youth being just himself, with no airs. No need to stereotype what respect has to be. It is a new age now. As long as there is no disrespect, it is okay.

There is no dearth of monks who have earned Masters, MBA , MBBS/MD/FRCS , Phd or Post Doctorate degrees from the best Universities in USA, UK Australia , India and other reputed Institutions across the world . Many of them are most prestigious award winnners ( like Bhatnagar Award etc) and on special inviations give lectures on different subjects of Science, Management, Medicine and also Indian spirituality , at different Universities in India and abroad. Some of them are good surgeons as well . Yet they never come to media and disclose anything about their pre-monastic lives or their qualifications . Because attaimnent of God is the sole goal .

Even when Gods descended as man or woman... A tradition of man representing the woman and the woman representing the man naturally fulfilled the behest of reaching or recalling to them... Lakshmi...then Lakshmi Narayan... and if Shiv then Shiv Parvati...RadhaKrishna...spirituality is in the essences of relish and tastefullness that resonated in the depictions of their living past ...should we let our inner harshness forget the chastity of togetherness or should we become more sublime instead of submissive on our focus on Krishna, seeking help and mercy for our doings in material world... this was indeed a notably elevating conversation.....will inner harshness fail us? or outer harshness ?...we must decide? Or we must explore more which path is more conducive to pain? When we are in pain...we cannot think nor explain...we cannot even relish the mischievous past of God?

When we do refer to someone as Bhagwan or God, I do accept that God has shown himself to us again...correcting my previous answer, I see that maybe the host was seeking more answers relevant to time and order of events that must be due to occur in time...does someone experience that the concept of understanding God and speaking of him is still pending or a shortage of being able to connect more deeply to the current matter...rather than becoming blushed with our own senses & past memories of fondness or grievances of time and occurrences...

Few corrections 1. Yes the interviewer is right, religion rings those bells. But what the guru practices is not religion. It is dharma - Sanatan Sharma. 2. Sadly, essence of all religions are not the same. 3. It is a usual habit of blaming the people but the religions have difference in essence that the faithful have to follow. The essence of the Abrahamic faiths is that the guru is destined to an everlasting hell. 4. The Hindu essence is that all people have to go through karma and reincarnation. And unlike the Abrahamic view, all people can access Hindu heaven through one of the four paths of Hinduism - namely the good karma. Yes, irrespective of one's belief acts that lead to welfare of humanity takes anyone to the Hindu heaven. 5. Hindu God is both formed and formless - almost like the behaviour of subatomic particles as wave and matter. Sex can only be imagined in the formed. Hinduism can be seen as polytheistic monotheism. There is a great philosophy behind that concept.6. Meditation: Yes its a discipline and persistence is important but there is another factor. Its called 'inner dope'. This good feeling is brought about by going closer to the Anandamayi kosh (blissful body) that is one of the 5 bodies that makes us. It is this blissfulness that makes the saints meditate for years. This is before reaching the atma that brings in the highest level of bliss. Thanks

Well, he gave a very goodie goodie answer to male preponderance/supremacy..... But its true that male supremacy exists in all organised religions, including in ISKCON. They may allow females to take Brahmacarya diksha, but they don't allow females to become "Swaminis", that is, they don't allow sanyas diksha for females.
@vyanjanadubey4362 Жыл бұрын
Sanyas ashram is not meant for women according to shastras or Hindu scriptures but they can serve in other ashrams like grihasta.
