The beginning and hums... isn’t it weird how we all interpret these songs in similar yet different ways? As I listen- I think of her. Things ended abruptly and so quickly... if I could go back and change the hands of time, I would. But, I can’t. We’re still friends, but the truth is a month after I saw her last I didn’t know how to act around her. I didn’t talk to her but I acknowledged her with a wave. She didn’t say anything to me. I left it at that. She then started doing weird things like trying to balance on an obstacle when we were all walking as a group I ignored her, but all of me inside was telling me to get her off it because I don’t want to see her harmed in any way. A part of me thinks she did that to see how I’d react. All I wanted was to give you a hug and take care of you that night. Maybe, after this quarantine is over... I’ll know how to be around you.
