If the magnet inside the bitholder on the handle of the ratchet becomes loose, just get a small piece of teflon tape, a bit larger than the magnet, put it inside the bitholder, and then press the magnet on it. That's what I did to a similar ratchet that I acquired a couple years ago, and the magnet hasn't loosened up ever since.

The sockets are both Metric and SAE. That is why they are splined. I use this set (just the socket and ratchet set) for my motorcycle tool kit.

There is probably none yet. I was interested to this set. I do like the fact those little boxes makes them quite EDC kits. My only gripe is they could have added to the socket set an adapter for the handle and a small extension bar. The other little sets are nice too. The 1/4 " set do have the accessories. Although as far as these goes while the socket set might be unique. Nothing is packed like it. For bit sets there a lot more choices, I mean you get wiha for similar bit sets and metal cases. Icon, toptul, USAG for similar sets... I hope this will make the tool industry to make they boxes more compact. So far for me these makes perfect technician tool sets. Just add a few wrenches and you have something for a lot of tasks in a little package. 😊
