the moment after the bridge in the MV where the sacrifice falls through that ceiling window, the match cut to the mini sun and then to the festival dance with the flowers was so cool, that just plays in my mind whenever the song reaches that moment. Like editing wise its simple but the storyboarding for that moment was perfect, the feels and sync to the song was so good. I'm with Kess on the movie opinion XD, I was angry after watching it too (my brother liked it though lol), because of how it made me feel XD It was just so disturbing. The concept was such a good fit for Red Velvet though! The song itself I enjoyed instantly, have enjoyed the mini album too. Sunflower and night drive are 2 b sides are really liked but I'm giving the other b sides more listens and they're growing on me fast too. Thanks for fast reaction on this though, considering you're both recovering still I was not expecting one this week at all, so just wanted to send some appreciation for that too. 🙇‍♂

History - MV is inspired by Midsommar (The Movie). The film is inspired by the Swedish tradition of celebrating the summer solstice. The summer solstice is the most beloved and familiar tradition of Sweden, its home country, all are in a good mood. Fairycore, mysterious forest vibrations, June 19-26, summer nights are considered “magical, mysterious and dark”, it is believed that during this period it is performed "human ritual", which is reaized in the minimal details, Propacine to plans the power of “healing” and can also predict the future, while the young people, you have to reap silently so as not to break the magic, 7 different species of flowers and put under the pillow to dream of your beloved that will be sent (randomly) the next day by the cosmos to the sacrphic, (so a man falls from the sky at the beginning of the fully stunned MV, and the girls run to catch him). According to Sweden, the "ritual" part is a legend, and only happens only in the movie "Midsommar", but there are controversies. It is also the largest holiday in Sweden, only a few countries celebrate this beyond Sweden, and is celebrated in very different ways depending on the country. But the film was specifically inspired by Midsommar in Sweden, which is what they make reference in MV. Traditions between countries have some differences and similarities. Such as: Belarus, Poland and Finland, which are the greatest similarities in the original traditions of Sweden. "Moonshine", the two composers who collaborated with Kenzie in this track are Swedish. Red Valvet, even having a company that is not giving due value to these divas, and even with low budget they have turned Golden gunpowers, and yet proved once again, with a million views in 3 hours, which should be very more when posting this), to confirm that they are the best group of live idols. I think though the MV got inspired by Midsommar, the message that RV giving is different. I think the stranger did not get sacrificed (nor died) but got joined in RV CULTure and became a member of their communion which led them celebrating and worshipping together the beautiful moment of their serendipity-like relationship. So ultimately it shows the fell of Luvies to RV Midsummer festival 😂

Okay WHAT IF Feel My Rhythm's storyline follows the girls dreaming of what a free life looks like, that's why every scene looks like it comes from a book or a fairytale, because all they can do is imagine as they're trapped by their abusive father in the basement. Wendy snaps, and k-words their father, they escape, get caught, and eventually was let go by the judicial court because they're victims OR they OA'ed (series on Netflix) themselves out of the situation where the cops caught them by dancing in unison, and they got teleported to a different dimension where they joined a cult.

This song is perfect it just screams “kpop” to me and Red Velvet have some of the most beautiful voices in kpop (in my opinion). The midsommer theme was really intriguing this video is so good! I don't think they're actually killing that guy, it's more like they're getting him to join their cult. In the comeback teaser (the one with all the references to their past) they were leaving that world because they were alone in it, longing for someone (luvies), and the world they go to next is this one. So maybe they're just summoning people and getting them thru a ritual to worship them as the goddesses they are?
