Marissa Meyer has mentioned she always imagined Cinder to be white or asian, maybe mixed. So if someone chooses to picture Cinder as white I'm fine with it but I always thought the argument that Cinder wouldn't be asian because she's lunar as silly as the argument that the sailor scouts aren't Japanese because they are aliens from the moon. Kinda annoying that white people are seen as the default. I've always kinda imagined Cinder to just be a tan southeast asian, maybe mixed.
