I always thought the idea of her being rendered safe by the artistic interpretation was both a joke on how anything will have anime fanart at some point, as well as that the entity was a sort of living, murderous manifestation of the fear of the unknown, and that the artistic interpretation rendered her known and gave her definition, thus rendering her safe and kind of the accidental mascot of the base she haunts because people know what she is and therefore the fear she represents is nullified.

This sounds like something that Chaos Insurgency would conjure up, especially with the GOI responsible for the creation of the entity being hostile to the foundation. Considering that the victims of the entity are the only ones that can see it, this reminds me of the Mannequin (not the lady one), which is an anomalous mannequin that both works for the CI and is incredibly similar to this girl. Both anomalies attack only foundation personnel, are only perceived and seen by their victims, and serve an hostile GOI to the foundation, with the difference being that Keteru Yamiku is more of a shadow assassin while the Mannequin extracts information from its victims brains.
