Thank you Thomas, I'm really new to iLogic and how it works. My current employment isn't using Inventor to its best potensial, and I want to be the person to make automation. Thank you!

Rather than create user parameters, just name your parameters as you create the sketch, i.e. d0=length, d1=width, d2=thickness and so forth. I found this saves time in that you don't have to go back and rename parameters after the fact or spend time creating a bunch of user parameters. You can also do all of this in your template files and save even more time. It's all in the setup. Also, doing the "upfront" work in the template files can assure uniformity in a multi user environment. IMHO. God bless and stay well.

Why add a parameter manually to the code when you can add it automatically from your model. In the ilogic editor you can click open the sheet metal parts and you will see the parameters. Double click on the parameter and it will be added to your code. You can also see the value.
