The only thing I’d do differently, is not put the coconut in the icing but sprinkle it on top. My grandma made a crisco/boiled milk frosting & then put the coconut on top.

That looks awesome!! Personal question. When you started keto did your seizures become less often and less severe? I have heard that will help. I won't use Xylitol as I have a dog that has gotten himself in trouble before with eating whatever he wants. I usually just use liquid stevia. does anyone know if that can be a replacement for the other sweetener. I find that as of late all of the sugar alcohols have been causing me digestive issues. Funny that they never used to.

Liquid stevia wine give the cake the bulk/volume that a granulated or powdered sweetener will. Resulting in texture issues. 😊

sorry about you having a bad seizure. You may want to try to increase your fat intake. Like adding more coconut butter or even avocado oil. But a couple of spoons of coconut oil/ butter may help. I seem to remember the diet for seizures included a good bit of fat. Prayers

Victoria please never take a shower or bath alone. I lost my 16 year old son to a seizure in the shower. When he fell he hit the button that made the water go from the shower down to the faucet and the washcloth slide down over the hole and made the water come up deep enough to drown him but not for the water to run over into the floor..You are so sweet..💋🧚🏻‍♀️❤️🇺🇸

THIS CAKE IS AMAZING! I made it last night and will be using the cake part in many ways. Favorite cake 😋 recipe ❤ so moist. My husband wanted chocolate frosting and so I added three tablespoons cocoa and I used 1 cup less coconut in the frosting. It was too much frosting for us but it tasted great. I’m going to use this base cake recipe for sure!!!

Hi Victoria. I am really excited to make this! I wanted to alert you to what I am pretty sure is an error in your printed recipe card. For the buttercream frosting you list sweetened coconut not unsweetened. I think you might want to fix that. Also, in the method section of printed recipe you state to "beat the butter and sugar together." I think you might want to change that to "beat the butter and sweetener." 70 grams is the 1:1 grams per cup to white flour. 82 grams is the technical grams per cup but it’s over absorbent. Like I said I’m still learning
