Today in the project reboot kitchen, I'll be showing you how to make kare kare, an absolutely delicious Filipino dish that I've adjusted for the western palette. I challenged myself to make the dish using only ingredients you could find at your local Whole Foods. As an additional challenge, I made some modifications to make it as low carb as possible. Will it be anything close to the authentic kare kare that I know and love? Watch to find out.
Stay tuned for our next episode where my mom shares her authentic kare kare recipe and my family weighs in on which recipe is better.
