We are all very grateful for this new way of eating. Been on Keto for 4 months. Made the coming off booze so much easier. I've tried singing the praises on social media but no one listens. They all want their precious carbs. smh. Anyway, thank you so much. We can only save ourselves. Everyone else will have to figure things out for themselves. Same as quitting drinking.

Don't let it haunt you. I have tried helping people over the past couple years who obviously needed help, but they were not interested in change. Have figured out that changing your lifestyle is a decision that needs to be made by oneself. No amount of reasoning or showing evidence will help someone who has convinced themselves they don't have a problem. This realization has made me more popular than when I was trying to preach 😊

I have no issues but I am terrified about this entire spectrum of physical and mental diseases and feel sorry for all people suffering with no alternative than taking all sort of meds which have adverse reactions...I am especially appalled at hearing how they treat diabetes 2 ...either way this video brings so much hope into the picture. After having been vegetarian for 15 years and eating a carbs heavy diet, I am luckily quite lean even a bit underweight thanks to the fact that I have always had an intuition of fasting at times. Yet I started feeling awful (brain fog, allergies, exhaustion, low energy) so nowadays I have introduced chicken for the past 2 years and now for the past 2 wks I have started to have walnuts and turkey or eggs for breakfast. I also try to have a carnivore focused lunch at least 50% of the time. Still have lots of carbs at dinner. And some desert. Yet even by changing the breakfast and sometimes the lunch from high carb (100% carb) to more fat/meat (low carb), I feel so much better. My mind is clearer and I have much more energy than before. So happy I discovered yourself, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Berg and Dr Ekberg!

How do I find a doctor who will support me on your low carb eating plan? I have Cushings and even my endocrinologist doesn't know much about the low carb eating. Losing a pound is like pulling teeth for me. Some weeks my blood sugar is good (80's and 90's) and some weeks it runs around 140 and 150. I am eating the same things. I am off my insulin and Trulicity. I just cant figure it out. I also can't sleep and some nights I am up all night. I think it has to do with cortisol.
@ZinebAsri Жыл бұрын
According to Dr Elizabeth Bright, maybe you need to increase fat, do moderate protein, snack on fat (animal fat) no fasting to support your adrenals, also avoid stimulants like caffeine. Hope you'll find a doctor who supports your way of eating.

@@ZinebAsrican I ask how long you were on bipolar meds and how long did it take to get off them ?
@ZinebAsri Жыл бұрын
@@MsSilver41 I've been initially on antidepressants for 5 months wich led to my 1st manic episode then antidepressant + mood stabilizer for 1 month, then mood stabilizer for another 5 or 6 months I was afraid to go off meds and did it by myself because my psychiatrist didn't agree, I did keto after 1 month of introducing the mood stabilizer initially my goal was to control weight and lessen the metabolic risk that came with it So it took me about 5 months to stop meds, I could do it sooner since my symptoms have disappeared the 1st month of keto but my family was concerned ( because my brother would have episodes if he stops taking meds) so I just kept doing keto and taking meds for 5 months.
