first lesson, if you arrive in Cebu there is a bus that plows every 30 minutes for 20 pesos and taxis are fixed sit in rate just go to the taxi halls, white taxis are chepaer then tehers yellow taxis and the taxi SUVs btw 700 Pesos is a SCAM

Enjoy your bus ride. It's not a scam if you know the price going in. They quoted me and even told me the taxi is cheaper. It was my choice and I loved every minute of the ride

700 is NOT a scam for an SUV ride that far. In Manila they would try to charge you 2k for that ride. That would be a scam.

My GRAB rates to / from the airport to Ayala were between 240 and 400 peso depending on the traffic/ time/ availability. You did not get scammed: it was a nice big clean vehicle.

Carcar is a southern historic town of Cebu province. You ate the best dishes out of Carcar in House of Lechon in Cebu City. The lechon and the chorizo.

743 is good because that is a private car and your safe relax and if you forget something in the car you know where you can found them. 743 is a good price👍

You can take also a white metered taxi that cost you of not more that 300 pesos up to your destination, the Horizon Hotel. Yellow taxi is a bit higher and maybe 500 pesos. Another option is a SM bus up to the SM Mall which is 50 pesos before taking a metered taxi to hotel which is less than 100 pesos. Grab also is an another choice. Good luck and enjoy the delicious Cebu lechon.

It's actually Seh-boo (short E sound), not See-boo. The taxi driver got it wrong because he has a strong visayan accent. Great vlogs man! I'm a subscriber.

In Cebu we speak Cebuano only, but we are trilingual as English and Tagalog are understood and spoken also for non cebuanos

I recommend you going to Malapascua island which is just north of Cebu by Bus or taxi. Then from Malapascua do some island hopping. There is this strange fisher island called Caranaza/Karanasa. A political dynasty family called Osmena owns a private beach there with a helicopter landing, right by the beach there is a cave with rituals for that elitist family. Remains from WW2 can be found in the cave.

You can get grab in Cebu Airport, no problem it's about 350php to Horizon 101. The taxi sucks you have to wait an hour in line! 749 is not that bad for a private ride. I stay in Cebu for my home base everytime I go there for a month at a time. I always use Airbnb to get a nice condo with an ocean view for less than $600 all in for a month including WiFi, Netflix, Big water bottle and gas and electric.

Anotherv top video, and informative, never new kumquat and mandarin , hybred for calamasi and into the San Miguel light ! must try that when I return, "the flavours flies right out at you" ! and must go there also, House Of Lechon, and try the scallops also ! yes that skin and fat is the best taste , safe travels , sometimes obsatcles or holes on the sidewalk, surprised you needed to walk so much on then road in Cebu, love your connection with the locals and generosity ! cheers and beers !

FYI in the Philippines we use English language in class and that’s why Filipinos can speak English and also Tagalog as our regular dialect in Manila and different language in different parts of the Philippines.

Cebu is a major transport hub, both domestic and foreign. CEBU is well connected by plane or fast ferry to Bohol, Boracay, Palawan and some destinations in Mindanao. Try to pass by CCLEX in Cebu, the longest bridge in the Philippines

Taxis are so cheap you just have to make sure they use the meter. if the guy says no meter you find another taxi that will use the meter. Always have your google maps on so you could see if he's taking you the correct way.

Cebu is very close to Dumaguete City, my hometown. It takes 30 minutes away from Cebu. You should visit there barefoot vloger. It has lot's of gorgeous beaches there as well. The gentle people 😊❤
