Excellent video. i always think that its daft to try and flip the bell backwards, yes, the flip is easier but the catch is far more awkward, whereas flipping it forwards is much harder but the catch is easier. Again, really excellent instruction from you here!

Thank you . I'm,all about better ROI with exercises and if you can,make them safer why not. ?( Id rather use my 8 fingef to stop the revolution than 2 thumbs) And yes it definitely costs more energy and focus. Thank you i appreciate the words.

Been training KB sport for a few years and just getting started with juggling. I noticed Jeff Martone flips handles backwards/towards himself, but most Russians forwards/away. Really helpful to know the pros and cons, thanks so much for breaking it down!!

The "reverse flip" you're referring to is actually a regular flip. The "front flip" is a reversed flip. The reason you should start with the "reverse flip" is because it's the easiest to execute when you start to juggle overhead, and it's the easiest to throw double, triple or quad flips. The "reverse flip" is actually known as a "simple throw" - the "front flip" is known as a "reversed simple" and is incredibly difficult to do overhead.

Could you do a single stand-alone video on how to park the Kettlebell safely. It looks like it's a little bit different for a heavy kettlebell vs. A light kettlebell. Just parking / stopping the swing

Absolutely. I did one along time ago but it needs refreshed.. Plus its the most important part !that and the start which doesnt need to take 30 secs like so many people I see.

is it normal the tendon where my fore arm and arm connect ( inner elbow) hurts the first couple days? or am i doing it wrong. Seems like the catching part after it flips sometimes pulls apart my arm from my forearm as I catch it, and its not always smooth (since i'm still practicing), hence creating a hurting force on my elbow...

Fun, focus, intensity. Def not necessary but with heavy weights it ups intensity highly on certain complexes such as the Bruce Complex kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJyoYWt6l61_n5I
