I started my ketu dasha (2nd dasha)when I was 17. I have ketu in Leo in the second. I travelled abroad to study when I was 19 and was initiated into my spiritual path in a foreign country. My ketu dasha was filled with isolation and deep spiritual seeking and spiritual practices. I had no inclination toward dating and relationships during my ketu although I was in the prime of my youth( late teens early twenties). As I transitioned into my Venus dasha- suddenly a light bulb switched on inside me and I had the desire to be in a relationship. I suddenly got the desire to buy beautiful clothes and jewelry and dress up during my Venus dasha. It's so fascinating how our way of being and desires change due to dashas. It makes me feel like I am nothing, like I am just doing what is predetermined. I know we have free will and that we can access and use our free will when we can be in a calm/ satvic state.

Ketu MD is about isolation, depression, prison-like life, detachment, learning about astrology, spirituality, mental agony (a dispiriting mood), hopelessness, cessation of job, returning to homeland if one is abroad, etc. In Ketu MD/Ketu AD, a sudden termination/change of job/relationship, or a sudden relocation usually happen and from that moment on it is a downward spiral. This astrologer seems quite vague in his descriptions, as if he did not understand this dasha properly.

I am always surprised by what happened to me in the ketu maha dasha. It was my 3rd. I found a better job as it came, I did some of the best work in my life in this time. A lot of social work helping kids in my home country. Ketu is in my 11th house. My only son was born in this period too. For me Ketu Maha dasha period was one of the most fulfilling time where I have done a lot. It did not suck anything. I am trying to understand why. My Ketu is in libra in both main and d9 charts.

My Ketu is in Chitra. Venus is in 10th in Chitra too but debilitated in Virgo. However Venus is vagottama in D9. I have many ups and downs in my career but I love arts and to engage in creative things. I did a lot of that sort of things in my Ketu mahadasha. Now I am in Venus MD. Still engage in a lot of social work I started in my ketu MD.

For me it came late teens till mid 20s. My ketu is in the 11th house with 5th and 12th lord mars.. and exalted with Jupiter in 1st house Sagittarius. Mars also exalted in Nav. For me it was the period where i started doing a lot of spiritual practice and actually results were very very easy, so many fantastic openings i couldn't believe. Very healing time, wonderful period.

I am Aries ascedent. My ketu is in 9th house alone (while Rahu in 3rd with Moon). Lord of 9th house is Jupiter and jupiter in 12th own house with exclated Venus. In Ketu period I visited all Twelve Jyotirling, all four Dham PLUS Kailash Mansarover yatra through MEA. I think because Ketu is exclated plus effect of Jupiter. @@shallyarora2217 Hi,In my D1 chart I have conjuction of Ketu+budh in 2nd house of my scorpio ascendant and saturn exalted in 12th house of libra. I am experiencing one similar results in ketu-shani AD which i experienced in earlier mercury MD-Shani AD i.e jobless or unemployement though i appeared for many interviews .May be it because ketu is in conjuct with mercury and when in both mahadashas of mercury as well as ketu ,when shani comes in antardasha it is given similar results. But let me tell you one thing both the times in shani AD though i had suffered financial loss through umemployement,I have received something very precious Practical learning from shani which no other planet give you. Before mercury AD -Shani AD i was not believing in astrology But first time I practically experienced the power of planets through transits of planets in astrology that was during Mercury MD-Shani AD.It was time of start of my astrological journey but through transits of planets and was still unaware of broader effect and concept of mahadasha and antardashas.I experienced the effects of transits until all the things were going according to transits till February 2022. But here comes major twist in my learning.See currently all the major planets are well aligned in transits for my scorpio ascendant and rashi,saturn is currently transiting in 3rd housr,Rahu in 6th house,Jupiter in 5th house but still i am jobless,unmarried,getting more alone day by day but more spiritual and unattached.So in normal circumstances i get mad by thinking what is happening with me is totally different than the results of transit,but thank god with grace of gurus and god i know what is happening currently with me is the effect of ketu MD-Shani AD is overpowering the effect of current favourable transits. So i guess after shani AD completing on 15th december 2022 again mercury AD will bring major changes in my life. What is your current dasha and experiences ,please share.

Respected Sir, Please give another example where ketu dasha comes as 2nd or fourth dasha, but in birth chart, ketu is away from lagna degree. I mean in bhava chalit chart, ketu should change its placement or for example lagna degree is at 15 than ketu should be between 1degree to 8 degree or 22 degree till 30 degree. For me sequence of dasha is not working.

@@mattb.455 will be bit troublesome. I have ketu in 9th of Aquarius in rahu nakshatra and went through 6.7 years of K2 md. Try to Meditate and lower your expectations. For me I went multiple u turns and total headless decision based on my studies. But still I got opportunities which was not intended or preplaned by me. Visited many holy places without knowing it. I recently found interested in astrology but now i can connect those days and can really feel it was a blessing. Really even if you don't have a penny in your pocket, rejected by the person you love most or even humilited ,still you can find happiness, you can understand that you can forgive and move on. Truely this period is a blessing.

Thanx a lot sir!!!! I m also running ketu dasha and it is placed in 2nd house. It is aspect ed by Jupiter from 10th house Jupiter. This is third dasha which is pratiyari but so far good enough.

Sir, you gave information on Ketu mahadasha as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Daisha. I wish you had completed the series. It is my next Daisha and that is my 5th Dasha. How is Ketu mahadasha when it is the 5 th one? Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Jayashree P You have Venus is 11th house in taurus in nakshatra of moon in lagna chart which moves to 10th house in KP chart. Your venus main period should be very good period for you regarding all areas of life. Fail to understand why you say that venus period has not been good. Maybe our karma which we have been sowing and reaping are more powerful than our planetary positions.

Hi, For Cancer Ascendant, Venus have Kendrathipathi dosh, hence normally Venus will not give good results during its Mahadasha, But you need to check where Venus from Moon for detailed analyzing. But don't expect much from Venus. You can expect 30% good results during the second part of its dasha. ( Venus is 20 years, if first 10 years is bad you will get some good results in the balance 10 years) Hello readers, if any one no more than this please comment.

@@maheshnatarajan2954 I am going through Ketu mahadasha. Worst period of my life. Only one year gone of Ketu mahadasha. And I am already feeling depressed and dejected. Don't know how will b the remaining six years. My lagna is kanya and raashi is vrischik. Ketu is in second house. Placed alone. If someone can help I can share my birth details.
