My husband doesn't care about flowers while I love them. He followed me to Keukenhof for my birthday. He was amazed and blown away! My favorite was the tulip ICE CREAM. Really beautiful, like a cone of vanilla ice cream!!! Don't miss this spring period. You still have 2 weeks left before the tulips wither

🌷 Ich war schon 2× am Keukenhof es ist grossartig u. sehr sehenswert was man da an Blumen zu sehen bekommt . Was diese Holländer da zur Schau stellen muss man gesehen haben wenn man eine Blumenliebhaberin ist Diese vielen Tulpenarten u. Farben od. die riesigen Hyazinthen ,dieses Meer an Tulpen einmalig . Auch die Tulpenfelder außerhalb ,soweit das Auge reicht haben mich schwer beeindruckt . Da muss man singen 🎶 🌷 Tulpen aus Amsterdam ... 🎶 🌷

I’ve got vague memories of when I was about two being taken to this place fairly often as we were stationed in the RAF very close to it. My father took a picture of me reaching out and grabbing some plants with my brother aged 13 at the time trying to stop me. I can imagine the conversation went something like ‘ stop her Dave or we will all be slung out’. Happy days!
