Best Non-Killers Killers album... Dave IS the man. It's like 80s New Wave with contemporary rock
@jpgr89375 жыл бұрын
I just wanna say for the whole of Prismism and Dave Keuning that the album and Dave are not 1/4 ingredients of the Killers but so much more. Dave is the Killers more than anyone else and this album proves it. Best album I’ve heard in a looong time too. It’s all I’ve heard since it’s release and it’s going to remain monumental. Congratulations Dave Keuning and Keuning the band!

Dave is a legend and the guitar solos in many Killers songs are just unreal, but Brandon is the Killers. Hence why they can still tour and sell out stadiums without Dave. That being said, Brandon, Ronnie and Dave together are greater than the sum of the individual parts. I would like to see Dave come back in and the Killer's release another couple of top class records. Still, the current situation is fine too.

I feel like Brandon kinda took over the band, which is why their new music isn’t as commercially successful as their older albums. After listening to any of Brandon’s solo stuff, the. Listening to Imploding the Mirage (which didn’t feature Dave at all because he had left the band), it sounds more like a Brandon Flowers solo album than a Killers album. I can almost hear Brandon singing on nearly any song on Prisms, and it sounds like the Killers.

Yeah you can definitely here The Cars' influence in The Killers' and Keuning's songs. The Killers even open the RRHOFIC where The Cars were inducted, the Flowers did their induction speech.

Paul WT dude it’s not dishonesty, it’s an opinion. Well we’re not really saying that the new record of the k is bad or any of that; I dunno but I kinda think there’s a bit missin to their new album maybe that its short for guitar driven songs in it, or like some guitar parts was just meh. But then again it doesn’t mean that the songs in it were actually bad. We’re just missin Dave

This is really good but did you leave The Killers?
@PhantommenacePC6 жыл бұрын
No, not officially, he and Mark have just not joined them for the most recent tour. Of more concern perhaps is that they (Dave in particular) had supposedly less involvement than usual in the production of the most recent album. While I'd love to be able to go to a show with the full Killers lineup someday, I definetely think that keeping all 4 members' creative input when putting out new music is the most important thing. The good news is, the break from touring has seemingly creatively refreshed both Mark and Dave, so hopefully for the next Killers album they can both contribute some great work.
