He played on the first album of Soft Machine! All psychedelic rock and progressive rock fans know him. Although I didn’t have the album, I know the lyrics of his lady Rachel by head, only because I heard it so often. Friends played it and it was one of the favorites of my coffee shop. His first solo album, Joy of a Toy, was also wel known.

Spanish TV never recovered from this kick in the ass. Ángel Casas was unique creating TV shows and programs. Kevin and Ollie in top form despite the despites... in the mood of the 80's. Casas interviewing Kevin. Now both somewhere far from here. Rest in peace Angel. In case anyone wonders, the little guy playing the lead guitar in the last two tracks is the marjorcan guitarist Joan Bibiloni (a.k.a. John B.B. Lonely), who played in Kevin's band in 1980-81. There's a Kevin Ayers album, Deja Vu, which he also co-produced.
